Katamari Miso Crochet Pattern

This is fanart of Miso from Katamari that I made for personal use and wrote the pattern as I went along to share with anyone that would like to make their own.
The pattern is for the main structure only. The soup and face details were needle felted but you can also use felted sheets cut into shapes and sewn on or embroidery floss.
Yarn and hook size I used produced a plush about 9" tall with the antenna. Because I used a small hook with thicker yarn, it did get a little tricky for the arms, legs and antenna. If it seems too difficult, you can always try going a hook size larger or you can use dk sized yarn for the entire plush but it will be a different size.

Felting fibers in red, black, white, green, orange, beige and brown (optional, you can choose to embroider or cut and sew shapes in the same colors)
Barbed felting needle (optional if you choose to felt)

Secure and weave in tail

With coral colored yarn, go back to round 6 where the stitches are sticking out, pick up each stitch and sc around. Secure and weave in tail. This is optional but will help create the skirt look for Miso's outfit.
Now you will make a separate piece that will be going on the inside of Miso's head to finalize the bowl and close off the inside of the plush. I will be needle felting the details so if that is not something you're planning to do, you can use a brown color to make the center of the head and cc to red on the last row.

With red, mr 6

Secure and leave long tail for sewing

Add stuffing. Try not to add too much in the head and stop stuffing a little over the neckline. You want it to be a little crater on the top in the shape of a bowl so you'll have room to make your soup. Take the piece you just made inside of the head and sew into place.

For the arms, use red yarn, for the legs, use purple

Attach the ball on top of the antenna base. Sew antenna to the center top of Miso's head/bowl.
-----------------------------------------------------
For the details, I used felting fibers (you can make them yourself by brushing out yarn with a wire brush) and a barbed felting needle. Colors I used were a light beige, black, red and orange for the face and brown, white, and green for the soup.
Add the fibers in light layers and work your way up slowly until you get to your desired look.
For the face, felt a square shape with beige.
Add the eyes, nose and mouth. For the frame of the face, I used yellow embroidery floss.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy your new plush!

Aisha Plush Crochet Pattern

Aishas are my personal favorite Neopet! In the past I've managed to get my hands on some official merch but today they're harder to find or too expensive. I made an Alien Aisha for myself and ended up receiving some requests for the pattern so here it is so now you can make your own! This is fanart and made for personal use only.  --------------------------------- You can make most colors with this pattern. I recommend using a photo reference of your Aisha to determine what colors you will need. Mutant, Desert, Baby, Darigan, Tyrannian, and so on would need some alterations and add ons that are not included in this pattern, yet. Below are tips on how to make the Alien, Rainbow and Plushie color that requires multiple colors and a few extra steps. Alien   Body, Feet, Tail:  Make all white Neck and Head:  Pick up stitches with white and color change to green at the end or round 8. Ears and Antennas:  Make in all green Use embroider floss or you can needle fel...

Lucky Cat Crochet Pattern

This is an old pattern I put together years ago and was made by making all the pieces separate and then sewing it all together. It was originally available on Etsy but I've recently decided to call it quits there and start sharing my patterns for free in this blog. Enjoy!  Supplies Yarn: Medium 4 worsen (Dk yarn will work too but the plush will be smaller) Yarn used in this pattern: Red Heart Super Saver- White (for entire cat), Cherry Red (for collar), Paddy Green (for bib) and Gold (for bell and coin) Hook: US 1 - 2.75mm will produce a cat around 9"-10" tall. Larger hooks will make a larger cat. Tapestry needle Scissors Felt (black and red) Embroidery floss (dark brown and pink) Stuffing Optional Materials Sewing needle and thread (if you choose not to assemble with yarn) Stitch markers (helps you not lose your spot in the round) Sewing pins (helps keep your cat secure before sewing) Plastic doll eyes (if you choose to opt out of felt for eyes) Felting needle and fibers...

Velvet Cat Plush Crochet Pattern

Each cat I've made using this pattern ended up being around 7"-8" tall with ears and tail is 6"-7" Got some velvet yarn in your yarn stash and no idea what to do with it? How about make a simple soft cat plush? I've decided to leave their face blank because I think it's cute, but feel free to add your own details such as doll eyes. What I like about this pattern is it's very easy and quick to build up.   ---------- Supplies  Hook size: 4.25mm, US 6/G  Yarn size: Bulky 5 (yarn used in pattern is Bernat Velvet) Scissors Tapestry needle Stuffing  Stitch marker (optional but recommended to mark the beginning of each row) Optional supplies String or ribbon for collar (I used leather thread) Bell or charm (for the collar) Jumpring (to attach the bell or charm for collar) ---------- Abbreviations mr: magic ring sc: single crochet inc: increase (sc 2 in one stitch) inv dec: invisible decrease (sc 2 front stitches together) ---------- BODY AND HEAD Round 1. s...
