Katamari Miso Crochet Pattern

This is fanart of Miso from Katamari that I made for personal use and wrote the pattern as I went along to share with anyone that would like to make their own.  The pattern is for the main structure only. The soup and face details were needle felted but you can also use felted sheets cut into shapes and sewn on or embroidery floss. Yarn and hook size I used produced a plush about 9" tall with the antenna. Because I used a small hook with thicker yarn, it did get a little tricky for the arms, legs and antenna. If it seems too difficult, you can always try going a hook size larger or you can use dk sized yarn for the entire plush but it will be a different size.  ----------------------------------------------------- Supplies 2.0mm US A crochet hook  4ply medium yarn in red, purple, coral red and yellow (brand used in this pattern was Red Heart in cherry red, mulberry, coral and yellow) Stitch marker (optional but highly recommended) Felting fibers in red, black, white, green, orange

My felting fibers of choice are polyfil stuffing and acrylic fibers I make myself with yarn and a wired pet brush. I have no issues with wool, I'm just cheap and find it more convenient because I always have stuffing and yarn on hand. Supplies I used Barbed felting needle Polyfil or wool Fibers in red and black  2 mini glass doll eyes  Polymer clay Brown embroidery floss Tacky glue 2 Head pins Red felt sheet  Black acrylic paint Orange acrylic paint White acrylic paint Scissors I made an egg shape with a wad of polyfil. On the bottom area of the egg shape, I added more fibers to make the head. At the top of the head, I added a spot where the hairdo would be. With a small amount of polymer clay, I made a cone shape and used a tool with a silicone point to make a line around the side of the cone and flatting
